On Friday, September 26, 2025, Dr. Wright had the pleasure of presenting at the AAACE Conference. She shared her professional journey as a social worker, from humble beginnings in an inner city, to becoming a change agent, holistic health practitioner, educator, and professional scholar. Throughout her presentation, she shared about the importance of educators integrating self-care, holistic health, and social work frameworks into academia, personal and professional living.
On Tuesday, April 13, 2026, Dr. Wright attended ResilienceCon in Nashville, Tennessee. The ”Hot Topics” style panel discussion, titled “Advancing Intersectional Feminist Human Rights Frameworks, A Pathway to Just and Sustainable Systems in Child Welfare and Social Work”, highlighted Dr. Wright’s capstone project, social work, and the panelists’ mutual passion of intergenerational relationship building and mentorship.
